Inspiration and Action

Community is much more than belonging to something; it's about doing something together that makes belonging matter. — Brian Solis
  1. Take a moment to pause and write down the various communities, digital or analog, that you currently belong to and engage with (Flux and Flow counts).
  2. Reach out to someone in one of those communities and ask a question or share something you’ve learned recently.
  3. Research one new community or group that you’ve been curious about (digital or analog) and explore how you can get involved.

Reflect and Act

Building a supportive community isn’t just a nice-to-have; it’s essential for growth and learning.

What communities have made the biggest impact on your creative or professional growth?

Reply and share your thoughts. I’m in the process of designing a community specific resource database for our community and any suggestions would help!

You told yourself you'd handle it Monday. Then Tuesday. Now it's Thursday afternoon and the light is starting to fade in the room. You feel that familiar heavy heat of frustration rising in your neck. You start to run the usual script. I'm just being lazy. I lack the discipline. If I were actually...
